Vray 1.9 Mac OS X (for C4D 12-15) + keygen It really depends on what youre using it for.If the first link does not work, then work the second link : But yeah, its definitely a double edged sword. It makes you appreciate how compact and simple Cinema's interface and engines are, for those times when youre tweaking 12 different settings all over the place to get the look you want. There are three different kinds, and each one has a ludicrous number of settings and options. or for another example - their Anti Aliasing settings. or the default lens-distortion, that you need to go into the settings and change to pinhole to get rid of. But its definitely not always a great thing. stuff like that, you have the control to make those complex things. like car paint, or lacquered floors with multiple specularities. like if you have a multi layered texture. Vray is great overall, but it is wayyyyy more complicated. You can get metals close in Cinema to Vray, but it takes alot more work and tweaking. But it does make metals look better than Cinema's engines with less effort. Whereas Cinema has a Displacement channel in the regular material. you need a VrayMat, VrayDisplacer and a VrayBlendMat to put those first 2 materials together. The texture system is simultaneously more robust and more annoying - For example: when making a displacement material. It IS faster at rendering very heavy scenes with loads of lights and GI, but I often end up needing to set up a seperate scene using AdvRender with no textures to get good multipass layers for comping later. Vray isnt necessarily better than PhyRender IMO, its just different. you're perfectly correct.Īnd i pretty much agree with you. Image Infoĭo not be sorry to be that guy.
